Who to believe: How epistemic cognition can inform science communication (keynote at Australian Science Communicators conference, 2018)

Did a keynote at the Australian Science Communicators conference in Sydney a few weeks ago.  Slides embedded below. The speaker notes are pretty content rich (references, and roughly what I said in the talk for most of them, plus some other notes), so it’s worth downloading the whole thing. Brings together some work we’re developing at the moment around decisions in contexts of divergent information (especially in nutrition), that builds on other’s work, and some of my own research. Fun experience and nice crowd!
