I wrote (with my supervisors) a draft paper, available for commenting on google docs (it’s already there so I won’t transfer it to this system).  The paper is available at the link below and discusses how I conceptualise the relatioship between pedagogy assessment and epistemology and the implications of that for learning analytics, giving a particular example of epistemic beliefs and their measurement.
